Employee Nitrogen Safety Agreement

It is important and essential to go over this Employee Nitrogen Safety Agreement with employees when they are onboarded and trained on Nitrogen Safety. We would also recommend that it is repeated yearly to keep training and safety fresh in employee's minds.

Print a copy, go over it with the employee, have them sign the agreement, and keep in their employee file for easy reference.

Below is a the text of the agreement:

Employee Nitrogen Safety Agreement
Everyone who works in this store or visits for any appreciable amount of time MUST receive
safety training and sign this release form. A copy of each signed release will be maintained in
the store.

By signing below, you are confirming an understanding of the following principles:
• You will not allow any non-employee access to handle any amount of liquid nitrogen
• You will not use the liquid nitrogen for anything other than freezing ice cream without
permission from your supervisor.
• You will not attempt to contain liquid nitrogen in any container other than an approved
liquid nitrogen tank
• You will not take any amount of liquid nitrogen out of the store.
• You will not attempt to remove nitrogen from the tank any way other than through the
approved nozzle.
• If you notice any leaks or issues with the tank you will contact your supervisor
immediately to fix the situation.
• You will not attempt to put any liquid nitrogen in your mouth or attempt to swallow it.
• You will not attempt to submerge any part of your body in liquid nitrogen.
