Communication of Hours, Options, and Offerings to the Public


Updating your hours: 
  1. Login to Synup at https://szlisting.subzeroicecream.com/ and adjust your current hours.  This updates hours for your location on all different search sites, Google included.  
  2. Change your hours of operation on your facebook store page
  3. There is a shared Google spreadsheet where you can keep up to date with your current hours and what options you are offering.  Having this information will help Corporate know how to help promote your stores through All Points PR or through social media channels and influencers. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1-miIyVJLteE1SLqU00glQmlYdVr_Y0JXAJSrwyMyh-A/edit?usp=sharing
Communicate your available options to your customers. Let them know if you are open, are providing takeout, delivery, curbside, and any 3rd party delivery companies.
  1. On your local social media pages. 
  2. Through texting to Rewards program customers.  This can be done through CityGro, or directly through LinkPOS
    1. Text Marketing directly through LinkPOS
      1. If you would like to send text messages to your loyalty customers please contact LinkPOS. You can let them know about online ordering options, new store hours and remind them you are open.
      2. Please call our Customer Support Line with any questions at 1-855-472-3767, option 2 or email customer support at support@linkpos.com
      3. 1.5 cents per text when done directly through LinkPOS.  
  3. Even if closed or offering limited options, continue to ENGAGE with the public on social media!  
    1. Science Video Segments posted regularly
    2. "Live" Facebook videos
      1. Before:
        1. Create a Facebook Event with the day and time of the presentation
        2. Post, Advertise, and Boost it 
        3. Plan what demonstrations and experiments you will do.  Those that are more visually eye-catching and not require a lot of explanation will be best. 
        4. Prepare area with all materials needed and at hand.
      2. During:
        1. Engage with attendees as they comment and watch the presentation.  Call out names of who you see, thank them for watching, answer questions, repeat demonstrations as requested.
        2. Ask questions of viewers for feedback as needed.  
      3. After:
        1. Thank Facebook audience for tuning in.
        2. Remind them a of other events coming up.
        3. Ask for responses of what they would like to see in the future.
        4. Communicate ways you are continuing to serve from you store, continuing to be a part of the community, even in these times.
